A reflective metasurface for generating dual?mode dual?polarized high?order Bessel vortex beams with equal divergence angle

A single-layer reflective metasurface is proposed in this study to generate dual-mode dual-polarized high-order Bessel vortex beams with equal divergence angle Ka-band. The consists of two different subwavelength elements polarisations, which are located the inner disk region and outer ring respectively. element, composed a square regular octagon, achieve phase response 360°. microstrip line double W-shaped line, designed compensation polarization conversion simultaneously. Equal orbital angular momentum (OAM) modes achieved by theoretically calculating radii regions. prototype fabricated tested at 29 GHz, results show that +1 mode x-polarization +2 y-polarization successfully generated. This work provides simple practical method for high-capacity OAM communications.
